The service is nice, but not partitions everywhere and the mask obligation is not really strictly observed. The food was okay but not anymore ....

Friendly personal and good place for any kind of enjoyment. Only one thing that i didn't like since Corona has come, is the online menu. Ot would be really great if you could change the way of looking because it's too small to be read online and the way of gett3the second page is really bad.

We were there on the last day of our relationship - after 6 years. Unfortunately a difficult day for us, but we're starting again now and want to meet again at the ALEX for the first time! Nevertheless, ALEX can't help it ..... The waitresses were super friendly and competent. They gave us good advice when choosing a wine. The atmosphere was very friendly and pleasant ?

Very nice staff! Super delicious food! Very cozy and well-kept! Caution - large portions! (See the "normal" large coffee / salad in the photos) The ALEX-Wiesbaden and its entrance is directly opposite the Wiesbadener Therme, at the end of the pedestrian zone. There is a huge outside area. In wet and colder times there are two heated, seated and blanketed winter garden tents on the terrace. Inside the restaurant there is plenty of seating, the counter and the kitchen. On the first floor there are more seating options with an even better view and the toilets. Payment can be made in cash or by card. ** regarding Corona ** ▪ Access of course ONLY with a mask! ▪ The staff also wear their masks over their mouth AND nose at all times! ▪The contactless disinfectant dispensers are in the entrance and toilet area. ▪ You have to fill out a piece of paper with your contact details, date and time. ▪The menu can be downloaded to your mobile phone via QR code. Have fun and enjoy your meal ?

Hygiene rules were observed. The service was quick and friendly. The breakfast buffet was always well filled and tasted delicious.

We went here for a waffle dinner this afternoon! The staff were very friendly and quick, the drinks were served very quickly and the waffles were delicious while they were still hot, with nicely decorated side dishes! I attach a photo!

Unfortunately only a few vegan dishes, obviously no focus. But: the (vegan) salads were very tasty. And there are fries too :).

Were guests in Wiesbaden, then at Alex Essen, great! Will be back the next evening, great again. Food perfect ? service excellent. Gladly again ?

Good food, and loved the Yuzu lemonade! Staff was very friendly and helpful and pricing was not too expensive with decent portion sizes.

Great terrace, very friendly and attentive service despite a lot of activity, delicious and original lemonades in a giant glass (0.5 l) and really tasty, beautifully presented food ? We were thrilled and will definitely be back soon ??

nice food, but service could be better

The customer service here has declined over the last 5 years. I sat through an entire dinner with an empty beer glass and could get any of the waitresses attention for a refill until after finishing an entire meal. They also used to be friendly a d peasant. Not so much anymore--It was absurd. This used to be our "go to" place to eat... Also, I was extremely disappointed that they took the homemade potato chips off the menu.

Came for lunch but they had a Sunday brunch. Fantastic! We're stuffed!

We were there for brunch. Variety of the good is well, service is good. i I generally love this place has a nice outdoor sitting area.

Service is very. Dealing with customers is simply missing. Even if you take into account that it is by no means upscale gastronomy, it is still simply bad. You wait 20 minutes for your beer, then it comes to food, but still no drinks, service is pointed out. At the time when the second attempt with the drinks starts, you go wash your hands, come back and the table is cleared, no food, no drinks. Just 40 minutes in total.

Now visiting one of the most traditional villages in Germany. With the tranquility and the fresh air, new experiences leave this place. Breakfast with a great cup of coffee. A wonderful quiet, cozy place to do the most important ritual of each day. Breakfast. ??‍?‍?‍?

It's just nice here. You can sit wonderfully outside and it is also nice inside. We are there almost every weekend.

Attention, racism! That was the second and last time I come here! Because it takes us a little longer to decide, the waitress asked the third person within 5 minutes whether we could read German at all and understood the card after we had also communicated with her in German. Never again!

Very unfriendly and unprofessional. Unfourtunaly, breakfest was awul, egg was cold, choped fruit was not freash, chees was not from the fridze... Friend of mine got old, very hard piece of bread, almost broke a tooth. Restourant needs definitely better service staff, with professional approach and kitchen need also to be improve. You cannot serve old bread for breakfest and warm cheese... Thay don't even deserve this one star, but it has to be one. Never again.

Perfect place to drink a coffee or even better a beer ??? good view to the heart of Wiesbaden. Service was very good.

Rib Eye steak with shrimp and fries was good. Pretty crowded but not all that loud. Nice place and a good location.

My husband and I visited ALEX for a Sunday meal and were not disappointed. He first ordered the appetizer of sweet potato fries with the garlic aioli. It was wonderful! For a meal, he ordered a beef entre off the menu which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables, while I greatly enjoyed the brunch buffet. There was a large variety of items which I found to be well worth the price. I enjoyed the delicious apple pastry the most. We will be returning for meals in the future. Thank you all so much!

Fresh selection of many choices.

Christmas decorations fell from the balcony onto my fiancé’s head and broke on the floor. My fiancé has a headache, feeling ill, and embarrassed. I paid €54 to have my fiancé fill ill, my date ruined, and the inconsiderate “sorry” given by the waitress who said she was also the manager. They didn’t even clean up the mess of Christmas bulbs on the ground until I told them they should after seeing little kids walking nearby. No refund, no gift certificate, no desert, no cold compress, no nothing.

Great food and even better staff. Speaks English.

Really really bad service, we waited for 30 minutes upstairs and no One came, the waiter saw us and... Nothing, for me It was enough, If you difficultly, take and other waiter, One more....
